- ・Please confirm that the gestational age at the time of the test is 10 weeks 0 days or later.
- ・There are no dietary restrictions.
- ・Regarding medication, please stop using heparin-type drugs from the night before or the morning of the test. (Please ensure that at least 12 hours have passed since the last medication before blood collection, if possible.)
Blood Collection Method
Procedure for Syringe Blood Collection Using a Winged Needle
- 01
Prepare the specified blood collection tube with liquid anticoagulant (at room temperature) (with the examinee's name and blood collection date written on the label).

Disinfect your hands with alcohol-based hand sanitizer.

Disinfect the puncture site.

Attach the winged needle (use 21 gauge) to the 10mL syringe and collect blood.

If the syringe is pulled quickly during blood collection, it may cause hemolysis. Please pull the syringe slowly.

After collecting the blood, insert the winged needle vertically into the rubber part of the blood collection tube and transfer the blood into the tube.

After transferring the blood, remove the winged needle, and gently invert the blood collection tube 8-10 times to mix.
Storage, Transportation, and Other Instructions
- ・Please store at room temperature between 18-25 degrees Celsius.
- ・Do not freeze the blood sample.
- ・Place the sample in the designated box, and use newspaper or cushioning material inside to prevent the blood collection tube from moving during transportation.
